WELCOME TO THE WASPS LADIES' WEBSITE
Wasps Ladies are at the forefront of women's rugby in the UK and currently have two teams, in the Premiership and in the Championship SE 2 respectively. We train and play our home games at Twyford Avenue Sports Ground in Acton, West London, close to Ealing Common (Piccadilly and District) and West Acton (Central) tube stations and the 207, 427 and 607 bus routes along Uxbridge Road. Click here to view a map. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30-9:00pm with games on Sundays.
Over the last 5 years our womens' teams have achieved 3 League titles and in 2004-2005 won both the Premiership League and Cup. Our 1st team formed the core of the England Women's World Cup Squad in 2006 with 9 Waspies travelling to Canada to represent England, Canada and Samoa. Several of our players were also selected to play for England in the Women's 6 Nations in 2007 (captained by Sue Day from Wasps) and the European Championships in 2007 (captained by Shelley Rae from Wasps).
