Sunday 25^th November v Finchley

 

Finchley turned up at Twyford Avenue with a squad of 20 players.   After an hour of joint training, working on Rucks & Mauls, Handling skills and the Tackle we set about some games.  Results were mixed with 2 wins and 2 losses.   All 30 of the Wasps squad took part in at least 1 of the 4 matches.

Won 3-1

 

Details of the try scorers are still to fully emerge but I gather Gautier Lecalrez, Tristan Flint, Jae Kim and Hugo French all crossed the line.   Also mentioned by the coaches for their determined play were Max Thomas, Tom Phellps & Haydn Popper.   Play did not quite show the grit and determination of the previous week however there some excellent passages of play on both pitches.

 

Sunday 25^th November London Wasps v Newcastle Falcons

Later that afternoon 90+ Players, Friends & Family from the Under 10 and Under 9 headed off to Adams Park to watch a very enjoyable London Wasps victory v the Newcastle Falcons.   5 tries from the home team saw them round out easy winners
