Wasps FC Referees News Congratulation to all the newly qualified referees in Wasps FC. As part of the ongoing development process for refrerees the Wasps Referees Section will be hosting three referee training evenings during the 2008/2009 season that will form part of a larger initiative for continuous development of RFU (ELRA) Qualified Referees to be hosted by ourselves and other local clubs.
Ed Turnill, the RFU Referee Development Officer for Southeast England is helping us arrange some talks presented by well known National Panel referees. Topics will include refereeing the tackle and breakdown, the scrum and one other topic to be decided. Wasps FC will host these on the following evenings: 1. 04/11/2008 2. 09/01/2009 3. 07/04/2009 We all remember Ed for the enjoyable and informative ELRA course hosted by Wasps in June so please put these dates in your diary for more of the same from Ed and others. <Back |
