 MORE YOUTH HONOURS...  U15'S WIN
 NEWBURY NATIONAL TENS CUP!


 Wasps U15's took part in their first Tens
 tournament. After a traditionally slow start,
 one draw and five wins later they lifted the
 Newbury National Tens Cup, defeating twice
 winners and hosts Newbury Stags by six
 tries to one. It was an outstanding
 achievement, rounding off another fine
 season for the team.

 Two of Wasps youth teams picked up their 
 Herts/Middx League trophies from former

 All Black, Chris Jack, at the Saracens v

 London Wasps Guinness Premiership match

 on 20 April.

 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH HONOURS 

Martin Jones sent us this great news:-

 
 
" I am pleased to advise all Club Members that 
 Liam Cooper-King from Wasps FC Under 17's 
 has been selected to represent Barbados at 
 full International level. 
 He will be flying out on the 17thApril to compete 
 in an IRB World Cup qualifier competition in the 
 Cayman Islands!


 Liam has been a Member of the Mini/Youth 
 section since its inception in 1999 and was last 
 seasons 'Honours Tie' recipient for the Under 
 16's".

 Congratulations Liam, a fantastic opportunity, 
 the Club's best wishes go with you!

  BUCCANEERS TAKE 9 SECONDS TO SCORE! 

 Inbelievable but true! Wasps Buccaneers took
 just 9 seconds to open the scoring against 
 Hammersmith and Fulham with a try which
 they converted.
 In Bucs Merit Table tradition the final score
 was a massive 69 - 12 victory. Hindsy's wrap.

  U14's HIT THE HIGH NOTES ON SATURDAY 

 The Party at Twyford Avenue to raise funds
 
 for the U14's Tour to Jersey was an outstanding
 success. Simon Bottomley reports -
 "The U14's fund raising evening was quite
 incredible.
The musicians who came together
 to support our players were just brilliant. To
 these guys our gratitude is due.
We would like to
 thank everyone
who came to what must have been
 the most exciting evening Wasps has ever heard,
 and,
in particular, those who spent so much time
 organising the event.

 To those who missed it here are a few moments
 from the evening.

 U14'S AND U15'S BOTH TURNOVER STORTFORD


The U13's completed their 7/7 league programme, beating Ruislip 24-22 in a close finish! The U14's kept a clean sheet
as they won 12-0 at Bishop's Stortford B's, to go 4th. Meanwhile, just 100 yards away, the U15's ran in 4 tries to win 30-17 against Stortford A's.
